Flexible Modeling System Runtime Environment

The Flexible Modeling System Runtime Environment (FRE) is a scientific workflow developed at the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL). FRE is specifically designed to manage models that us the Flexible Modeling System (FMS) framework.

FRE is available on Gaea (for model build and run), and PPAN for post-processing. For documentation, and use of FRE, please refer to the FRE Documentation (NOAA account required).
